Fusion of Sounds and Emotions

Nemyra’s music is the natural meeting point of many geographies, languages, and inner landscapes. Born in Italy to an Italian mother and Haitian father, and raised in Spain, she grew up immersed in a richly cosmopolitan environment where cultures were not separate influences but part of everyday life. This early sense of plurality shaped both her identity and her artistic voice, instilling a deep sensitivity to nuance, rhythm, and emotional expression. Her first language was movement. As a child she devoted herself to classical ballet, a discipline that refined her musicality long before she formally studied music. From there, her path expanded into classical guitar, piano, and voice, where she began translating physical expression into sound. A formative period in New Orleans marked a turning point, opening the door from a classical framework into the harmonic freedom of jazz and more contemporary forms of storytelling.

Having lived across Europe and the Americas before eventually settling in Brasil, Nemyra carries within her a lived sense of cultural migration. These experiences do not appear in her work as quotations of style, but as an organic fusion-brasilian and Latin rhythms flowing alongside pop-soul lyricism and jazz-inflected harmony, all woven into a sound that feels both intimate and borderless.

Her songs unfold like personal diaries written in multiple emotional languages. Honest, reflective, and quietly sensual, they explore belonging, memory, and transformation, inviting the listener into a space that feels at once deeply personal and universally human. Guided by warm vocals and live instrumentation, her music preserves an organic, tactile quality—each note shaped by experience, each silence carrying weight.

Rather than belonging to one tradition, Nemyra creates from the intersection of many, crafting a musical world where cultures converse, identities blend, and emotion becomes the common ground.
